Snow Fun!

We had so much snow (the most we've ever seen in College Station) on Wednesday, 12/10/08. The kids were so excited and had so much fun playing in it. Unfortunately we still had to go to school, so they were only able to play in it before school and after and then the next day it was melted before we got home. We still enjoyed it so much! It made us crave more!
The very beginning of the snow early in the morning

Rachel bundled up to play in it before school

Jacob and Jordan playing in it on the trampoline before school. We figured it would be gone by the time we got home. Notice Jacob has his backpack on ready to go.

The most snow around the house

We were so late to school this morning!

It stopped snowing while we were at school and then it started again around 3:30 PM. Luckily I had left work sick at noon so I was at home when it started. I hurried to pick up Rachel and Joshua and Dad brought Jacob and Jordan home from school just as it was starting to snow hard. This is Rachel playing in it right after we got home.

Rachel was in awe of the snow!

Joshua went out in it for a short time. He was sick with a cold
so we didn't want to keep him out in it for too long.

Jordan on the trampoline as the snow is starting to really come down.

Jordan made this miniature snowman by himself.

Scot helped the kids make a bigger snowman after he got home from work.

Our backyard looked like woods!

Scot and the boys had snowball fights. This is Jacob running from a snowball!

Scot with a big snowball! He said it was the most snow that he had ever seen!

Our front yard - oops! We didn't protect our plants!
